Key and Emerging Issues in Criminology

A good starting point to examine key and emerging issues across the discipline is to look at the websites of research organisations and peak bodies—review the current research and focus areas. Other sources of information include conference proceedings, including any key note addresses and annual themes. If you get a chance to attend a conference they will also provide a great networking opportunity. We’ve noted a few links to research and other organisations including criminology ‘societies’ from which you can obtain information about current research and conferences in criminology. Don’t forget to look at notices within your institution which may direct you to occasional seminars and other talks going on in your local area.
