1. Try a simple experiment. Look around at your environment, now try to separate the light from the objects, space, colour and shadow. What do you notice?

2. What properties of light can be manipulated through aesthetic use? 

3. What role does the perception of each individual audience member play in how this light-based information is received and processed?
